The install was a little hectic, but a few you tube videos I got it installed. It works great keeping my house cool. Great product!!!
After much research, it’s a unit exactly as advertised. It’s doing exactly what I needed, cool my bedroom, install was easy. It took me a day but imma slow, and the customer service was awesome and amazing as well as the technical help at Mr cool
I replaced my old worn out package heat pump and "holy" crawl space duct work with two (24&18btu) Mr. Cool multi zone systems and, so far, am very impressed by how well they handle my needs! I am anxious to see how they do during the winter months for heating, but as of now, I couldn't be happier with my purchase!! Installing myself saved me a bundle and was fairly easy to do!! I'm already recommending these systems to my friends and family!!!
DIY but still used a technician
This is my second Mr Cool mimi split install in the past year. Installed 2 cassettes this time. It was going good until I tried to start the unit up. Got error code PC03. Did some research, and checked all wiring and line connections. The next day I took off the outside unit cover and found a wire connector to the high pressure switch was not fully plugged in (see attached photo). So, plugged it in where it snapped into place. Put cover back on and tested unit. That did the trick. Unit is working just fine now.
