The unit, now that it is installed, is fantastic. Especially for that price point. My only hang-ups is that the install instructions were very light on details which lead to me making some critical and time consuming errors. For example, the instructions said to slowly bend the gaseous 1/2" low pressure copper tubing by hand instead of using a tube bending tool. Its feasible to bend the high pressure liquid line without getting kinks or creases because it's only 1/4" but 1/2" has just too low of a wall thickness to tube diameter ratio. Additionally the terminals on the wire bundle were incorrect for interfacing with the "1,2,3" port on the indoor unit. Should have been a U-channel but were a quick connect. I was able to re-attach proper terminals but this would not have been intuitive to somebody who isn't technically inclined. It was NOT obvious that the "1,2,3" port on the indoor unit was underneath a cover that you had to unscrew parts of the frame to get to.
Great unit now that its working but terrible instructions.
Hi there I have tried again and again to contact you about this order via email and phone have left multiple voicemails on the phone number on the website. And in the shop app it shows that the order is placed but nothing has shipped yet. My money has been taken for a few weeks now and I can’t get anyone to give me a tracking number on where my equipment is at.

The Chill website was very easy to navigate. Shipping was quick, and the delivery contractor set the system were I requested. The installation was not complex, and the manual was helpful.
The system fired up with an error code. When I contacted Mr. Cool, the service technician was very helpful and resolved the issue quickly.
The system is running fine, and it is so quiet you have stand below it to hear any noise.
Overall I am very satisfied with the entire experience.

Contacted your staff via email and voice mail 3 times over past 16 days. This morning i received an email stating the extra items purchased 16 days ago. But no updates after shipping. Also advised mini split should ship on the 17th of may. Still no actual contact and no updates on “items shipped”. Would like better updates and better customer service.

I received this mrcool split system pretty easy to install we've ben using it for about a month and love it and very happy with it unit is very quiet and efficient
The customer service on front end was awesome. However post install, have some concerns that I am hopeful can quickly be resolved. I have tried multiple times to get someone from customer service to issue RMA for the two wall brackets and two extra line cover kits that weren’t needed. So far no response. And of the four wall units (two 18,000 btu units, 3 of 4 have error codes and don’t throw cold air. The tech support have a process for troubleshooting but taking too long to resolve. Hopefully today will get resolved but I’m not as optimistic as I was.

Love the price and simplicity of the system. It shipped quickly as well. The manual is pretty much useless and thankfully I have installed mini-split systems before so this wasn't foreign to me. Had it not been for youtube videos showing me how to do this I think I would have been in a completely different world.
Also, as of this point I have yet to get the Bluetooth or phone control working. The app seems to be pretty awful at getting this set up so I'm just using the included remotes.
Mr. Chill is definitely a better DIY process but you'll be paying for that.

I received my unit in a timely manner. The install seemed to be very easy for my HVAC contractor. It cools and heats very well. I’m still learning but the controls and settings are very user friendly. The condensing unit is very quiet. I would recommend this product.
The electrical kit is just what's needed to wire it up and get it working!
Sent a non working condensor. Told me they couldnt help me and to reach out to the manufacturer after i spent over $2000 installing the unit. Now i still have to pay a tech to install the new unit. Installation is gonna cost more than the unit. Order directly from mr cool if you can and avoid the middle man.
Update, chill mini splits has reached out to Mr Cool and ensured a fast warranty process, im not getting reimbursed for the money I spent on technicians but at least I won't be waiting long.

Right from the start of opening the boxes and getting ready for installation, I realized how easy this was going to be! I’ve installed quite a few mini splits and each one had its unique challenges, but Mr.Cool made it so simple. The most exciting part is not having to run a vacuum pump, cut and flare line set, and the wiring is labeled for easy installation! My biggest complaint is not even with the product it’s with sales. I wanted to install multiple Mr.Cool units over the course of the summer months and I was inquiring about setting up a charge account. I understand they don’t offer it, but the response I received was rude and without explanation.
Very simple to install took us 3 hours with a trip to hardware store. Absolutely blows ice cold I live in Louisiana and will need this for our summer. 73 degrees keeps my area perfect had a different brand at my old place and had to run it at 62 for same results.
I recieved my Tosot 9000 btu DIY split unit. The installation was simple and easy, I just followed the instructions. The installation took around 2 1/2 hours, 1/2 hour to inventory the unit and parts, and 2 hours to install the unit. It could have gone faster, but this was my frist time installing an split unit. Once the split unit was fully installed, I performed the vacuum process on the unit to remove trapped air and moisture. After the vacuum process was completed, and there were no leaks. Performed the start up on the unit and set the inside air temperature. Its been 2 weeks and the Tosot unit is still going strong. Thanks again for making this installation easy.
Best system to go with for some wanting to diy. Keeps everything nice and cold and warm when you need it the most. Cost effective as well.
