At Chill Mini Splits we work hard to deliver high-quality mini split air conditioners, in perfect condition, to your residence. If you're not completely satisfied with your purchase, unused merchandise can be returned by contacting our customer service department.
Returns
Our policy lasts 30 days. If 30 days have gone by since your items were delivered, unfortunately we can’t offer you a refund or exchange.
To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused/unopened and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging. If an order has shipped, you must pay the return shipping cost and the restocking fee. A 25% restocking fee will be charged on all unopened returned merchandise. In some cases, we will accept opened box items which are subject to a 35% restocking fee.
We can process returns for unused products and refunds only for items purchased from ChillMiniSplits.com. To set up a return for unused products purchased online, log in to your account and use our self-serve returns within 30 days from the day your order arrived. If you need assistance with your return, contact customer service and we're happy to help! If you are returning a product because we made an error in your order, we will promptly send you the correct item at no additional cost and we will schedule and pay for return shipping. Please contact our customer service and advise of the incorrect item received.
The purchaser is responsible for the cost of the returned shipping. All returns will have return shipping deducted from the refund that ChillMiniSplits.com incurred in the process of shipping your order. For all other orders not associated with our "Free Shipping offer" (Original shipping charges are non-refundable)
We are not responsible for lost or damaged shipments. You must contact us to file a lost shipment freight claim with the respective carrier. We recommend you retain your tracking number after shipping your product.
To receive a refund, please make sure of the following:
- All returned merchandise must be in resalable condition
- The product must be free from damages, scratches and/or defects
- All merchandise must not have been installed
- You must have the original manufacturer packaging for the item (manuals, accessories, packaging materials) and unopened
- All free or gift items including accessories must be included with your return
- There cannot be any writing or labels on the original manufacturer packaging for the item.
- Packages must be sent back by customer via a traceable source, such as FedEx or UPS. Please do not use USPS
- All freight bound equipment must be returned via freight carriers (If you are unsure which method your products should return via please contact us)
- All items must be returned with their assigned return merchandise authorization (RMA) number. Items returned without an RMA number will be refused by our warehouse.
To complete your return, we require a receipt or proof of purchase.
Please do not send your purchase back to the manufacturer.
There are certain situations where only partial refunds are granted (if applicable):
- Any item not in its original condition, is damaged or missing parts for reasons not due to our error
- Any item that is returned more than 30 days after delivery
Refunds (if applicable)
Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.
If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within a certain amount of days.
Cancelations:
A 3.5% credit card processing fee will be deducted from all refunds on canceled orders (including pre-orders).
If you cancel an order that already has shipped, then this will work like a normal return. There will be a 25% restocking fee and return shipping costs deducted from your refund.
Late or missing refunds (if applicable)
If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again.
Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted.
Next contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted.

Shipping
To return your product, you should contact our Customer Support for instructions on where to ship your item.
You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.
Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you, may vary. You should consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item.
