Advanced Technology
Learning System
The system features advanced sensors that monitor indoor and outdoor air temperature, system performance, duct pressure, and refrigerant temperature. During initial startup, it enters a learning mode to optimize future operation.
Inverter Technology
The inverter converts AC power to DC, allowing the compressor to adjust speed dynamically. This enables the system to self-adjust BTU output based on demand for optimal efficiency.
Size for Heat Capability
The self-adjusting inverter design allows sizing based on heat demand without compromising cooling performance, automatically adjusting capacity from 1.5-ton to 4-ton as needed.

Installation & Maintenance
Installation is straightforward and similar to installing any replacement air handler. Your technician will make electrical, refrigerant, and thermostat connections, as well as connect the unit to your return and supply ductwork. The ACiQ SC-48-AHB air handler is multi-positional (upflow, downflow or horizontal) and approved for mobile home installations.
Note: To function as a heat pump, this air handler must be installed with a condenser and other installation equipment. For straight electric heating, an optional electric heat strip is required and sold separately.
