The MRCOOL DIY Multi-Zone 48,000 BTU 22 SEER2 2 Zone Ductless Heat Pump Split System – 18K + 18K makes installation simple. The system uses pre-charged Quick Connect lines with R-454B refrigerant, which is EPA-compliant and environmentally safer than previous generations. No vacuum or refrigerant charging is necessary—just connect and go. Easy-to-follow instructions and video guides are available to help you every step of the way.
This system handles all seasons with ease: cooling in summer, heating in winter, and dehumidifying during humid months. Each air handler displays temperature and diagnostics on an LED panel, and the system can be controlled via remote or the MRCOOL Smart Controller app, available for iOS and Android. It also works with Amazon Alexa and Google Home for voice-activated control.
The directional airflow from each 18K air handler ensures even comfort throughout the room. Manual operation is available behind the front panel in case of emergency or maintenance.
In auto mode, the system adjusts based on your preferred temperature. The dry mode offers dehumidification while keeping the space comfortable.
Sleep mode allows for energy-saving overnight operation by gradually adjusting the temperature across an 8-hour cycle.

Use the programmable timer to reduce power usage. Low refrigerant alerts and diagnostic codes appear clearly on the air handler’s display. Muting features allow you to turn off audible alerts and LED displays for quieter spaces. In the event of a power outage, the system automatically resumes previous settings upon restart.
Maintenance is easy with built-in reminders and simple-to-clean indoor units. A quick wipe and periodic filter checks keep your system running at its best.

You won’t need the services of an HVAC professional when you’re setting this unit up, because you can do it yourself, which saves lots of time and money! This condenser enables you to heat and cool up to 6 separate spaces equalling up to 2,000 sq. ft., meaning you’d be able to cover an entire home in the completely efficient comfort of a single DIY® system. You can install this system on your own because our innovative, patented pre-charged Quick Connect® line sets allow you to skip the lengthy and complicated process of evacuating and charging the system. These line sets are filled with R-454B refrigerant, a much more ecological and proficient upgrade from the previous refrigerant used in the last generation. This switch helps the system achieve impressive efficiency levels, like 21.8 SEER2 and an HSPF2-4 of 10. These line sets are sold separately. Once you install your system, you’ll be able to explore the variety of ways you can customize your comfort. For ultimate control, you can integrate system operations with the SmartHVAC app, available for Apple and Android phones, allowing you the ability to set schedules, manage modes of operation, monitor your systems all with the touch of a button. The app even enables you to set up integration with Amazon Alexa and Google Home, meaning you won’t have to move a finger to make your home more comfortable than ever.
