Product overview
The ACiQ R4H5S18AKAAA is a standard heat pump condenser. Designed with comfort in mind and an inexpensive option for nearly any application, this condenser is considered a good all-around option for almost any application.
The ACiQ R4H5S18AKAAA heat pump condenser has an output of 1.5 tons, generally enough to heat and cool up to a small house in ideal climates. In many system configurations, the tonnage of the unit's paired coil or air handler will be larger in tonnage than this condenser, which maintains the efficiency of the unit. Please note that this condenser cannot function on its own, and it needs an indoor coil or air handler to work. This unit will also only heat down to around 35°F, and if you need heat any lower than this, a backup heat strip will be needed to act as straight electric heating in a compatible air handler.
The ACiQ R4H5S18AKAAA air conditioner condenser is rated at 14.3 SEER2, making it between 5-7% more efficient than standard 13.4 SEER2 units, saving you money in electric bills over the entire lifetime of your unit. In general, heat pumps will heat more efficiently than straight electric furnaces.
All ACiQ condensers come pre-charged with enough refrigerant for a 15-foot line set, making installation faster and more convenient. This pre-charged design saves installers time and reduces labor costs by eliminating the need for manual refrigerant charging. It also helps ensure the system starts with the correct amount of refrigerant, minimizing the risk of improper charging that could impact performance and efficiency. If a longer line set is required, your installer will need to add additional refrigerant to maintain optimal operation.

Leave fossil fuels behind with an ACiQ heat pump system. Every ACiQ heat pump condenser uses a scroll compressor to give exceptional cooling
performance and highly efficient, all-electric heat. WiFi-capable communicating condensers are also available.
ACiQ heat pumps come in a range of efficiency options to fit your budget's needs and your local weather conditions. Save up to 63% on energy costs with a newer model.

ACiQ heat pump condensers are 100% run-tested at the factory. Protective coatings on the fins and baked-on galvanized finishes mean long life even in harsh conditions. ACiQ’s extended warranty with online registration provides 10 year protection.

So, so extremely happy with my mini split system. My boyfriend had it installed in just a couple of days and didn't seem to struggle with directions. He did watch several how to videos online and I think that helped a lot. The only issue we encountered was bot understanding that some "master" valve (??) needed to be opened for a setup with multiple indoor units. The directions didn't clarify that and the indoor units weren't blowing cool air at all. I went to the website to send a help chat at almost 9 pm, thinking I'd get a response in the morning. However I recieved an auto generated AI type response based on what I said the problem was. The response gave specific troubleshooting ideas to check and that's what actually gave us the answer as to what was wrong! It was kind of amazing, actually! The system is up and running and saved us during some extreme heat temps! Never looking back, so worth it!!!!
We installed our Mr. Cool Mini Split in an area of our home that is either too hot in the summer or too cold in the winter. Its made a huge difference so far this summer and we are looking forward to seeing how it does this winter when it gets cold out. Its very quite in the room its installed in. You can barely hear it running. So far very happy with it. The install was not bad at all just had some help with the electrical as it is an older house and we were not feeling very confident about doing that ourselves. Over all very pleased with our purchase and will most likely be buying another for our office building.
Certainly the pre-charged lineset takes a lot of the guesswork out of the installation. I chose to torque my connections, and yes you can use an automotive Torque wrench. You have to weld an old socket on the end of an open ended wrench and keep the modified wrench at 90 degrees to your torque wrench handle, then set 35 ftlbs on the torque wrench and 20 for the small connection. made a custom rack to run my linesets on as shown in the photo.
Did not use Mr. Cool, but ordered Daikin through Chill Mini-Splits. All communications were excellent. When we had a sudden problem arise, Devin was able to help us out immediately and was great! Now that they are installed, we are so happy with the quality of the product. Would highly recommend!
Not too hard to install and works wonderfully! Customer service /tech support was soooo helpful and friendly when I couldn’t get the app to work. We got it figured out though!
