With its quiet horizontal discharge and ready-to-install pre-charged refrigerant system, the ACiQ AQ-GPHH36031 heat pump packaged unit is ready as an inexpensive heating and cooling solution for any all-in-one application. At a basic efficiency rating and a reliability to last a long time, the AQ-GPHH36031 lives up to the ACiQ name as it offers superior comfort and affordability.
The ACiQ AQ-GPHH36031 heat pump packaged unit is rated for 5 tons. This size of unit is generally suitable to cover a larger house in many climates. Please note that the heating output of this unit cuts out at 30°F. For heating below this temperature, a backup heating kit is required, as a field-installable accessory provided at an additional cost.
At 13.4 SEER2, the ACiQ AQ-GPHH36031 heat pump has the standard efficiency on the market today, making it installable in all mainland US states. If you would prefer a higher efficiency unit, a 16 SEER2 system would be around 12% more efficient than this one.
ACiQ offers a 10 year parts warranty on the AQ-GPHH36031 heat pump system when its installation follows state and local codes of the installation address and when the unit is registered online through the manufacturer.
The AQ-GPHH36031 is designed to be durable and sturdy, with its cabinet made of heavy-gauge galvanized-steel and its enhanced coil protection. For reliability, the fan motor is fully enclosed and permanently lubricated to allow for a long-lasting unit, as well as to prevent the need to re-lubricate the fan motor, lowering maintenance costs.
All ACiQ packaged units come fully charged and tested as the factory standard, lowering heat pump installation costs since additional refrigerant is not required. On the AQ-GPHH36031 heat pump, the unit is designed to function in any non-rooftop packaged unit application, such as for mobile and standard homes, warehouses, and other spaces where an indoor furnace or air handler is not ideal, making it a versatile unit for any application. Moreover, the fully-insulated blower compartment has convenient access panels for easier maintenance.
ACiQ is always determined to provide the best comfort possible to its customers, all while staying at a convenient price and keeping the unit quiet, efficient, and dependable. The AQ-GPHH36031 lives up to ACiQ's expectations.

So, so extremely happy with my mini split system. My boyfriend had it installed in just a couple of days and didn't seem to struggle with directions. He did watch several how to videos online and I think that helped a lot. The only issue we encountered was bot understanding that some "master" valve (??) needed to be opened for a setup with multiple indoor units. The directions didn't clarify that and the indoor units weren't blowing cool air at all. I went to the website to send a help chat at almost 9 pm, thinking I'd get a response in the morning. However I recieved an auto generated AI type response based on what I said the problem was. The response gave specific troubleshooting ideas to check and that's what actually gave us the answer as to what was wrong! It was kind of amazing, actually! The system is up and running and saved us during some extreme heat temps! Never looking back, so worth it!!!!
We installed our Mr. Cool Mini Split in an area of our home that is either too hot in the summer or too cold in the winter. Its made a huge difference so far this summer and we are looking forward to seeing how it does this winter when it gets cold out. Its very quite in the room its installed in. You can barely hear it running. So far very happy with it. The install was not bad at all just had some help with the electrical as it is an older house and we were not feeling very confident about doing that ourselves. Over all very pleased with our purchase and will most likely be buying another for our office building.
Certainly the pre-charged lineset takes a lot of the guesswork out of the installation. I chose to torque my connections, and yes you can use an automotive Torque wrench. You have to weld an old socket on the end of an open ended wrench and keep the modified wrench at 90 degrees to your torque wrench handle, then set 35 ftlbs on the torque wrench and 20 for the small connection. made a custom rack to run my linesets on as shown in the photo.
Did not use Mr. Cool, but ordered Daikin through Chill Mini-Splits. All communications were excellent. When we had a sudden problem arise, Devin was able to help us out immediately and was great! Now that they are installed, we are so happy with the quality of the product. Would highly recommend!
Not too hard to install and works wonderfully! Customer service /tech support was soooo helpful and friendly when I couldn’t get the app to work. We got it figured out though!
