This MRCOOL DIY Hybrid Central Split System is built for projects where one solution needs to do two jobs: deliver concealed, ducted comfort to a larger central area while adding independent ductless control to a separate room or zone. It pairs a 36K MRCOOL DIY multi-zone condenser with a 24K Hybrid™ Split System Ducted DIY Air Handler and a 6K wall mounted air handler.
The result is a flexible hybrid mini split system that can replace or supplement traditional central HVAC without giving up room-by-room comfort. Use the ducted air handler for a main living area, suite, or grouped room layout, then use the wall mounted air handler for a bedroom, office, addition, bonus room, or any space that benefits from its own temperature control.
